Contoh Teks Drama Bahasa Inggris “The Daily Activity of College Student”

1. Fitrotul Nekita = Lecturer of Basic Structure
2. Hasan Nurdin = Lecturer of Self-Speaking Expression
3. Iman Nurjaman = College Student who had living as boarding college student.
4. Ilma Nurlatifah = College Student who had living as boarding college student
5. Iis Rinni = College Student who had her house located nearly with campus
6. Heni Nuraeni = College Student who had her house located nearly with campus

Drama Dialog :
At the morning , Iman , come to the class earlier , at 06.00 am . He has himself sit for a while . While sitting , Iman says that no one hasn’t come yet and confused . And instead of waiting , he is whining.
Iman    : “Wow , maybe i came here at the wrong time . isn’t ?”
Afterward , Ilma comes to the class , she has found that no one else except Iman inside the class
Ilma      : “Wow , i did thought that i came here first . You came too earlier , iman”
Iman    : “Yeah , it is because i have myself woken up too early at 03.00 am .”
Ilma      : “Good to hear that . Why ? There is something to know”
Iman    : “Last night was a big rain there around my boarding house . I got myself cold and have no intention to go outside , so i’ve decided to sleep earlier at 08.00 pm ”
Ilma      : “You such a diligent . You know , at that hour i still doing my today’s homework”
Iman    : “Homework ? What homework ?”
Ilma      : “Self-Speaking Conversation , did you know that ?”
Iman    : “What !!??? I didn’t know that . What’s the order ?
Ilma      : “You have to make a written conversation. Why you didn’t know that ? Mr.Hasan asked all of us last week many times”
Iman    : “I completely forgot ..”
Ilma      : “Oh , you .. you better to do the homework now or Mr.Hasan would mad at us”
Iman    : “Yeah , you right .”
And then . Iis and Heni come into the class . Once they catched up each other , Iman do asking the question of homework to both of them
Iis and Heni                     : “Assalamualaikum”
Iman and Ilma               : “Wa’alaikumsalam”
Iis                                          : Good Morning , guys
Iman    : Good morning too , Iis , Heni . Have you guys done the homework given last week ?
Iis          : Yes i have
Heni     : Me too
Ilma      : What kind of conversation you guys have made ?
Heni       : I’ve made a conversation about the person who came to the haircut shop . He wants to cutting the hair and putting them up straight . But accidentally , the electricity was out for a while in the middle of process .
Ilma      : I see what you got there .. interesting conflict .. and you , Iis ?
Iis            : I’ve made a conversation about a mother who lost her child at the football stadium . The officer helped the mother to looking for the kid but there’s hardly to find . And finally , they did realize the kid has been found in the market and actually being kept by the cashier.
Ilma      : Oh , i see ..
Iis          : What about your conversation , Ilma ? i haven’t heard yours .
Ilma      : Well , mine is just simple . Just about a guy who came to the doctor to check his health ..
Heni     : Iman , how about yours ?
Iman    : I haven’t done it .. i was completely forgot ..
Heni     : What happened with you .. go do the homework now then before its too late !
Iis          : Yeah , luckily the first lesson is Basic Structure . You’ve gotta make it work !
Iman    : I think so !
Iman get his book directly and begin to do the homework
Ilma      : Why Mrs. Ekit hasn’t come yet ? He usually come on time .
Iis          : I don’t know . Maybe she has something to work
Heni     : Have you contacted her , Ilma ?
Ilma      : Oh , yeah .. I haven’t
Heni     : Go tell her then
Suddenly , Mrs. Ekit get in the class .
Mrs.Ekit            : Assalamualaikum
The Students : Wa’alaikumsalam
Mrs.Ekit              : I’m sorry to came late . My car has a problem . The tire got airless which i have to go to tire autorepair shop first .
Ilma                      : It’s okay , miss
Mrs.Ekit            : Ok , last week we have learned about Sentence . And now i would like to remind all of them . Did something come to your mind ? Anyone can explain what we’ve got ? What is the sentence ?
Heni raises her hand up
Mrs.Ekit            : Ok , Heni .
Heni                       : Sentence is set of words that has been completed in itself . Typically containing subject and predicate .
Mrs.Ekit            : Good , anyone else ?
Iis raises her hand up
Mrs.Ekit            : Ok , Iis
Iis                          : Sentence is set of words that used to conveying statement , question , command and consisting of a main clause and sometimes uses one or more subordinating clause .
Mrs.Ekit            : Ok , very good ! So , basically , sentence is a set of words , used to giving either that statement , question , answer , or anything which structured by subject and predicate . And there are 4 kinds of sentence . Anyone can explain ?
Ilma raises her hand up
Mrs.Ekit            : Ok , Ilma , your turn
Ilma                      : Simple sentence , compound sentence , complex sentence , and compound complex sentence , isn’t ?
Mrs.Ekit            : That’s right . Can you give me the example of Simple and Compound Sentence ?
Ilma                      : hmm .. (thinking gesture) The simple is Budi drives a car and the compound sentence is Budi drives a car and Indah sweeps the floor .
Mrs.Ekit            : Ok good . How about the complex one ?
Iis raises her hand up
Iis                          : The example of complex sentence is Ridwan makes a cake but Simon buys a beer .
Mrs.Ekit            : Ok that’s good ! So i think all of you have still remembered all about sentence. Any question guys ?

Heni raises her hand up
Mrs.Ekit            : Ok , Heni . What’s up ?
Heni                     : How about the example of compound complex sentence , miss ? sometimes we rarely to find the example about it .
Mrs.Ekit            : Oh yeah i forgot . We got down this case , didn’t we ?
Iis                          : Yeah , but we haven’t understand yet
Mrs.Ekit            : Ok , it is simple . Compound complex be composed or made from two independent clauses and one or more dependent clauses. The example is like “Although I like to go camping, I haven't had the time to go lately, and I haven't found anyone to go with.”
Heni                     : Oh , i see .. so basically , the compound complex sentence is seems like a long sentence , isn’t it ?
Mrs.Ekit            : Not really . If the subject of every sentence was different , it does count .
The Students : (Understanding gesture)
Mrs.Ekit            : So i think our lesson today about kinds of sentence is finally over . Looks like you guys have remembered it well . Good Job . You gonna have remind it all the time cause it is important
The Students : Yes , Thank you , miss
Mrs.Ekit            : Okay , thank you for the attention today . See you later . Wassalamualaikum
The Students : Wa’alaikumsalam wr.wb

Mrs.Ekit go out from the class

Ilma looking to Iman that haven’t done his homework

Ilma      : Iman , have you done that yet ?
Iman    : Damn , i actually haven’t finished

Iman started to panicking and gloomy , and then Mr.Hasan comes in to the class

Mr.Hasan          : Assalamualaikum Wr.Wb
The Students : Wa’alaikumsalam Wr.wb
Mr.Hasan          : Good Morning guys . How’s the life going ?
Ilma                      : Very nice sir ,
Iman                    : Fa .. fa .. fine .. sir .
Heni                     : Nice , sir
Iis                          : Alhamdulillah , sir
Mr.Hasan          : Ok , we go to the point guys . As i said last week , i’ve asked you guys to make a written conservation . Have you done ?
The Students : Yes , sir !
Mr.Hasan          : Ok , i would like to hear all of them . But before that , i will teach you guys about Tips for Speaking English Fluently . Get your paper now and write it down ! Keep focus !!

The Students directly get the paper .

Mr.Hasan : In tips of speaking , either that for doing conversation , declaring statement , questioning , or others , First ! You guys have to had a good pronunciation , so people would understand what you’ve said . A good conservation happened depends on your speech . Like saying car , fit , lick , color , etc. Second , of course you have to know your English well . From the vocabularies , words , etc . To practice it , you can memorize maybe until 10 vocabs each day . You guys have to know that would really helpful . Just 10 vocabs and remember it until these get out from your mind . So , when you speaking , you wouldn’t get speechless . Actually there are many ways to get new words or vocabs , you guys can get some new words by watching movies , listening music , reading magazine . Write or remember the word that you guys never heard it before . I think that would be the best method , but it goes back to you guys which method you wanna use .. Third , nah ! it is one of the most important methods . For train your confidence to speak English , try to speak to yourself in mirror . Just look and know that your reflection on the mirror is other person . Or you can also speak by yourself . Whenever and Wherever , but must be in English . What you’ve speaking would be useful when you wanna have a conversation . Fourth , Don’t ever think about good grammar when you were speaking of . If you think so , you would hardly to speak . As long as your talk friends understand it well . So that doesn’t matter . Of course grammar is important , but you just don’t take it deeply  . Knowing some basics would helpful . That’s it . Actually whatever tips we practicing it off . That’s all go back to yourself . If you didn’t take it properly , you would got nothing .

Mr.Hasan          : So , i would you guys to repeat what i’ve been spoken before about the speaking tips. What’s the first one ?
The Students : Had a good pronunciation
Mr.Hasan          : The second one ?
The Students : Memorizing some vocabs or listening music or watching movies to know some new words
Mr.Hasan          : The third one ?
The Students : Speaking English either by or to yourself to improve more
Mr.Hasan          : Good ! and the last one ?
The Students : Take the grammar in the speaking aside .
Mr.Hasan          : Good ! i think the lecture today was done . Anyway , i would like to hear your guys duties . From you , Ilma !
Ilma                      : Mine is about a patient who comes to the doctor to check their health
Mr.Hasan          : Okey , nice idea . Iis ?
Iis                          : Mine is about a mother who lost her child at the football stadium
Mr.Hasan          : Interesting conflict . And you , Heni ?
Heni                     : I’ve made a conversation about someone who comes to the haircut shop
Mr.Hasan          : Okey , good , and you , Iman ? What about yours ?
Iman                    : I’m sorry . I haven’t finished it yet , sir .
Mr.Hasan          : What !? Did i’ve asked all of you to do the duties right ?
Iman                    : Yes , i’m sorry sir , i totally forgot
Mr.Hasan          :  No reasons accepted . You should know that i’ve given the order and that’s absolute . That’s why you have to keep focus ! Now , do the push up , 10x !!

Mr.Hasan          : And you have to bring your this week homework next week . Don’t ever forget it , right ?
Iman                    : Yes , sir ! I Promise !
Mr.Hasan          : Ok , now gather your duties up ! Next week we will practice them .
The students gather up the duty
Mr.Hasan          : Ok , guys , that’s all for today . Thanks for the attention . I appreciated you guys who have been making it work . And Iman , don’t you dare to forget them again !.
Iman                    : Yes , sir ! I promise !
Mr.Hasan          : Ok , thank you for the attention and attendance , Wassalamualaikum wr.wb
